Job Summary

A medical device company is in need of a Telecommute Medical Device Billing Collections Specialist.

Must be able to:

• Process and facilitate pre-certification and data input processes for claims
• Contact insurance carriers to verify coverage of certain items
• Review third-party payments to determine the correct level of reimbursement

Position Requirements Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent or
• 2+ years applicable experience
• Proficient in reimbursement principles, medical terminology, payer groups, and networks
• Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to learn new software and systems
• Ability to serve as an advocate for reimbursement by third-party payers
