Job Summary

A job market analytics software firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Staff Software Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Owning, maintaining, and operating suite of Spark jobs supporting multiple data set processing pipelines
  • Creating and preserving knowledge with well-written documentation
  • Building and maintaining data processing pipelines for several major data sources

Qualifications Include:

  • 8+ years experience in a professional setting
  • Strong software engineering, programming, and QA skills
  • Proficiency with Linux (or other POSIX)
  • Proficiency with Spark / Scala
  • Ability to create and preserve knowledge with well-written documentation
  • Ability to own, maintain, and operate suite of Spark jobs supporting multiple data set processing pipelines
