Telecommute Solution Engineer

Job Summary

Medical imaging and information management company has a current position open for a Telecommute Solution Engineer .

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Working directly with customers during pre-implementation to assess and redesign clinical processes
• Designing and implementing solutions that will maximize the customers benefits from Agfa technologies
• Coordinating project and integration activities with customers and third party vendors

Qualifications for this position include:

• Expert knowledge of medical communication protocols, including DICOM, HL7, XDS, and IHE
• Demonstrated continuous learning orientation, particularly around new technologies, applications and medical developments and healthcare industry standards
• Highly proficient in database technologies (Oracle, SQL), virtual environments (VMWare), and server operating systems (Linux, Solaris, Windows)
• Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with little guidance and supervision
• Knowledge of current information systems technology and industry trends
