Telehealth Physician MD/DO
Job Summary
To provide essential telehealth services, the part-time Telehealth Physician MD/DO will conduct 30-minute video visits with Medicare patients, review care plans, and document in the EHR, all while working remotely as an independent contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct 30-minute telehealth visits with Medicare patients, primarily via video
- Review and oversee care plans and logged hours of care advocates monthly
- Document patient interactions and care plans in the EHR system
Required qualifications
- MD or DO, board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license(s) in the US, with preference for specific states
- 3+ years of post-residency experience, with telehealth experience preferred
- Clean record with no disciplinary actions against the medical license
- Already enrolled in Medicare (PECOS) is a plus
