Job Summary
To support a growing pharmacy program, the Telephonic Pharmacy Care Coordinator will engage with patients remotely, conducting high-volume outreach to explain services, obtain consent, and manage enrollment processes for a specialized mail-order pharmacy.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound telephone outreach to introduce pharmacy services and guide patients through enrollment
- Document patient consent and update electronic health records based on patient decisions regarding pharmacy preferences
- Meet call center performance expectations, including call quality, productivity, and enrollment targets
Required qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Experience in a telephonic, call-center, or high-volume outbound patient outreach environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and engage patients over the phone
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or care coordination roles
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and MS Office Suite
