Temporary Conflicts Attorney
Job Summary
To support a leading national law firm, the full-time Temporary Conflicts Staff Attorney will conduct conflicts analysis, review reports, and assist with conflict waivers in a fully remote capacity for approximately 3-6 months, with potential for permanent conversion.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct and analyze conflicts searches for prospective clients and new matters
- Review conflicts reports to identify potential legal and business conflicts
- Work with attorneys to investigate and resolve potential conflicts of interest
Required qualifications
- JD required
- Prior substantive conflicts analysis experience within a law firm required
- 3+ years of attorney-level conflicts experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of conflicts of interest and applicable Rules of Professional Conduct
- Experience with conflict waivers and new business intake preferred
