Temporary Member Care Navigator

Job Summary

Providing telephonic assistance, the temporary part-time Member Care Navigator I will manage inbound calls, verify member information, and offer referrals while working remotely during the second shift from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST.

Key responsibilities:

• Promptly answer, screen, and triage inbound telephone calls while documenting activities accurately
• Research and provide routine referrals based on members' specific needs and assist with authorizations, benefits, and claims inquiries
• Make outbound enrollment calls to explain program components and schedule appointments for members

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in a Behavioral Health field preferred
• Experience working in a behavioral health environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to learn new computer systems rapidly and document all activities accurately
• Bilingual candidates preferred
