Temporary Patient Navigator

Job Summary

Seeking a Temporary Patient Navigator for a part-time, remote position, where the individual will manage high-volume outbound calls to assist patients in understanding healthcare next steps, overcome barriers to care, and provide compassionate support throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound patient outreach and establish rapport to encourage patient engagement
• Explain healthcare processes and next steps clearly while assisting with appointment scheduling and care coordination
• Track patient needs through resolution, maintaining accurate documentation and follow-through on commitments

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• 2+ years of experience in customer service, healthcare navigation, or patient support
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to understand and convey detailed processes
• Comfort with frequent outbound telephone communication and managing multiple computer systems
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional handling of sensitive information
