Temporary Production Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing production and stage management for the off-campus opera Rake's Progress, the full-time Temporary Production Manager will manage production meetings, maintain schedules, and collaborate with creative teams while primarily working remotely until on-site duties begin in March 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in production meetings and disseminate information to stakeholders
• Create and maintain a detailed production calendar, ensuring schedules are shared appropriately
• Monitor production budgets and liaise with various departments on production-related costs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Theater, Dance, Music, Arts Administration, or equivalent professional experience
• 3-5 years of experience as a production manager, technical director, or stage manager in a professional production company
• 3 or more years of experience supervising professional staff
• Previous experience as an event manager or in a similar role
• Experience working in higher education is preferred
