Temporary Repricing Associate

Job Summary

Responsible for data entry and verification of billing information, the full-time Temporary Repricing Associate will work remotely to ensure compliance with ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding while managing inquiries and processing reconsiderations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data entry of billing and Medicare reporting while verifying ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes
• Research and respond to inquiries to ensure compliance with state laws and handle EDI claim rejections
• Process reconsiderations and appeals, collaborating with vendors and provider networks

Required qualifications

• Experience in a medical billing environment with knowledge of Medicare/CMS requirements
• Thorough understanding of billing and coding procedures and medical terminology
• College degree or college-level education preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Slack, and Zoom
• Coding accreditations are a bonus
