Temporary Research Assistant
Job Summary
Supporting a faculty-led research project, the part-time Temporary Research Assistant will conduct legal research, analyze data, draft and edit scholarly articles, and manage citations in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in researching legal source materials and reviewing relevant academic literature
- Analyze data and draft articles and books for scholarly publication
- Conduct case coding and ensure proper formatting and citations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or enrollment in an undergraduate degree program
- Demonstrated interest in legal research, law, public policy, or a related field
- Strong research skills and proficiency with standard office and research tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in an academic research environment
- Experience with literature reviews or legal research is preferred
