Temporary Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and hands-on, the Temporary Senior Accountant will support the Accounting team remotely by managing DTC and Amazon revenue accounting, performing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close during a 3-6 month assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Shopify DTC revenue accounting, including sales, refunds, chargebacks, and deferred revenue in accordance with US GAAP
- Reconcile Shopify transactions to payment processors and ERP records, ensuring accurate cash receipts
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including month-end close and account reconciliations
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with large transactional datasets
- Experience with Shopify or Amazon Vendor Central preferred
