Job Summary
To support business needs during a defined period, the full-time Temporary Transportation Coordinator will manage daily shipment support, ensuring cost-effective transportation solutions while collaborating with suppliers, manufacturing operations, and home delivery agents in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all truckload shipments have assigned carriers and perform tactical home delivery functions
- Maintain effective communication between manufacturing operations, customer service, home delivery agents, and carriers
- Resolve time-critical transportation and delivery issues while identifying recurring problems and driving actions to resolution
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field strongly preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma training and/or certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with PowerBI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools is a plus
