Temporary Visual Designer
Job Summary
To support engaging storytelling, the part-time Temporary Visual Designer will develop visual concepts for digital and print projects, create editorial designs, and collaborate with the creative lead in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visual concepts for digital and print stories in collaboration with the creative lead
- Create thoughtful editorial designs with strong attention to layout, typography, imagery, and visual hierarchy
- Retouch photography and create conceptual collages that bring editorial ideas to life
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in editorial design, visual design, graphic design, or equivalent experience
- Strong editorial design and visual storytelling skills
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva; experience with Figma is a plus
- Experience with photo retouching and conceptual collage creation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative partners and manage multiple projects
