Tenable Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of the Air Force's Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) initiative, the full-time remote Tenable Engineer will troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues within the ACAS environment while developing and maintaining Tenable architecture solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues in the production ACAS environment, including vulnerability remediation and service certificate issues
• Ensure the health of the ACAS environment and maintain compliance with security policies and best practices
• Document ticket statuses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement remediation plans and process improvements

Required qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance
• 10+ years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor's Degree substituting for 5 years
• 7 years of experience with ACAS Solutions, preferably Tenable, and at least 5 years of direct experience
• 3 years of experience deploying, automating, and hardening Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
• One of the following certifications: CISSP or equivalent DoD 8140 Certification Compliance
