Job Summary
To support the Tennessee Department of Health's Insurance Assistance Program, the full-time Administrative Support Specialist will provide operational excellence, assist with enrollment processes, and collaborate with healthcare providers and case managers in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for case managers regarding IAP enrollment, eligibility, and renewals
- Collaborate with medical case managers to resolve issues affecting clients' access to medications
- Manage communication with stakeholders and document interactions to ensure efficient program operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum of four years of front-facing customer service experience in healthcare or related settings
- Experience in health administration with knowledge of healthcare operations and client service delivery
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with databases or case management systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational requirements
