Job Summary
To support the Department of Finance and Administration, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Accountant will prepare financial reports, monitor grant funds, and audit tax-related documents while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepares financial activity reports and performs reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- Monitors federal and third-party grant funds to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
- Audits tax-related documents and resolves issues with external customers regarding financial transactions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with relevant experience or CPA designation
- One year of full-time professional accounting or auditing work experience
- Graduate coursework in accounting may substitute for required experience on a month-for-month basis
