Job Summary
To support a growing behavioral health team, the full-time remote Behavioral Health Records Specialist will manage patient records, ensure accurate data entry, and provide exceptional customer service while working flexible hours Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather and upload patient information and assessment results into the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Assist with patient appointment scheduling and documentation of encounters, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Maintain confidentiality and promote a positive work atmosphere through effective communication with patients and team members
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in a records department, front desk, or office assistant role, preferably in healthcare
- Strong customer service experience
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate problem-solving skills
