Tennessee Licensed Clinical Documentation Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time remote Tennessee Licensed Clinical Documentation Specialist will utilize specialized nursing skills to enhance patient care through effective documentation and care interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize nursing expertise to ensure accurate clinical documentation and improve patient care outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to shape patient care plans and interventions
• Leverage technology to enhance the documentation process and support patient wellbeing

Required qualifications

• Current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure
• Associate or bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required upon hire
• ACLS certification from the AHA or ARC required within 12 months of employment if not current upon hire
• Coding certification or CCDS required with a degree in a related field
