Job Summary
Seeking a Tennessee Licensed Coding & OASIS Reviewer, this remote 1099 contract role will focus on home health and hospice coding, ensuring compliance and accuracy in documentation while working independently.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct coding and OASIS reviews for home health and hospice services
- Utilize various EMR systems efficiently to manage coding tasks
- Collaborate with healthcare teams using Microsoft Teams and Outlook for effective communication
Required qualifications:
- Must possess a coding certification (BCHH-C or HCS-D) and OASIS certification (COS-C, COQS, or HCS-O)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in routine coding and OASIS review
- Experience with multiple EMR systems, including WellSky, My Unity, and others
- Reliable high-speed internet and a computer less than 3 years old
- Preferred educational background includes a Bachelor's degree
