Job Summary
Seeking a Tennessee Licensed Credentialing Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage provider credentialing processes, including initial appointments and primary source verifications, while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and organizational policies.
Key responsibilities
- Process initial appointments, reappointments, and privileging applications for healthcare providers
- Perform comprehensive primary source verification of credentialing requirements and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve credentialing deficiencies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of provider credentialing experience; hospital Medical Staff credentialing experience preferred
- Experience with primary source verification and credentialing compliance activities
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, NCQA, and Medical Staff credentialing standards preferred
- Experience utilizing credentialing systems such as MD-Staff or similar platforms preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
