Tennessee Licensed Learning Facilitator

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Tennessee Licensed Learning Facilitator will support the academic success and engagement of 40-75 middle school and adult education students by providing proactive monitoring, technical assistance, and motivational support while collaborating with the Managing Instructor and Campus Director.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively engage and monitor student progress in the Learning Management System (LMS) and execute targeted intervention strategies as directed by the Managing Instructor
• Conduct regular outreach to struggling students to identify and remove barriers to participation and maintain communication with families regarding student progress
• Collaborate with the House team to achieve academic goals and ensure accurate logging of all student interactions and attendance in the Student Information System (SIS)

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid high school (Grades 9-12) Social Studies teaching certificate/license
• At least 1 year of classroom experience; 1 year of virtual instruction experience preferred
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual communication tools preferred
• Commitment to the vision and mission of virtual education and understanding of student engagement challenges in a remote environment
