Tennessee Licensed Medical Biller

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Medical Biller will analyze worker's compensation claims, manage patient health information, and ensure timely reimbursement while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate worker's compensation claim payments using proprietary software to ensure compliance with fee schedules
• Research and acquire necessary medical records and documentation for claims submission to insurance companies
• Conduct follow-ups with payers to confirm receipt of claims and facilitate prompt reimbursement

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1-2+ years' experience in healthcare billing or collections
• 1+ years' client-facing/customer service experience
• 1+ years' experience with workers' compensation billing preferred
• Intermediate understanding of insurance claims processing and data requirements
