Job Summary
Providing expert medical analysis of claims files, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Medical Consultant will deliver timely consultative services to the Benefits Center while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality customer service in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clear medical direction and forensic analysis to support medical opinions
- Collaborate with fellow medical consultants for comprehensive assessments of claimants
- Conduct telephone consultations with healthcare providers to gather relevant medical information
Required qualifications
- Professional Degree (MD, DO, PhD, PsyD) and active, unrestricted US medical license
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty (e.g., PM&R, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Family Practice)
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in medical specialty
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience mentoring others and providing constructive feedback
