Tennessee Licensed Patient Safety Manager

Job Summary

To enhance patient safety initiatives, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Patient Safety Manager will coordinate safety programs, analyze incident reports, and lead efforts to promote a culture of safety across the organization, with opportunities for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrates and teaches patient safety principles and high reliability models in various settings
• Analyzes incident reports for tracking, trending, and reporting, ensuring accurate harm categorization
• Facilitates causal analyses and develops action plans in collaboration with clinical and operational leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or an Associate's degree in nursing plus a bachelor's degree in a related field
• Current nursing license
• 5+ years of relevant experience in quality, patient safety, or related fields, with at least three years in healthcare
• Experience in facilitating root cause analysis and error investigations
• Working knowledge of patient safety science and high reliability principles
