Job Summary
Assisting the Registered Nurse in developing health-related plans and performing healthcare procedures, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse will work onsite in a school environment, interacting with students, staff, and community resources.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the development of health plans for students and perform necessary healthcare procedures
- Interact with students, staff, parents, and various community health resources
- Support the Registered Nurse in assessing health and safety needs with appropriate supervision
Required qualifications
- Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- 1-3 years of clinical healthcare experience in an acute or hospital setting
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse certification in Tennessee
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from the American Heart Association
- Preferred experience in a community or pediatric healthcare environment
