Job Summary
To support a growing claims team, the full-time remote Tennessee Licensed Property Damage Specialist will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle specialized auto and renters property claims while determining legal liability and coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Plans and conducts investigations, including interviewing involved parties and collecting documentation
- Analyzes coverage and determines liability, compensability, and the extent of damages for assigned claims
- Maintains accurate records and handles administrative responsibilities associated with processing and payment of claims
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of property claims handling experience or related fields
- Strong understanding of applicable statutes, regulations, and case law
- Experience with subrogation laws and platforms preferred
- Must have or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits
