Job Summary

To support K-12 students' academic and emotional development, a part-time Tennessee Licensed School Counselor will provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educators and families in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address students' academic, personal, social, and career development needs
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to develop appropriate interventions and support plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive school environment that promotes student success
Required qualifications
  • Master's degree in School Counseling or related field from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or certification as a School Counselor or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous experience working as a School Counselor in a school or educational setting (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health issues
  • Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques
