Job Summary
To support K-12 students' academic and emotional development, a part-time Tennessee Licensed School Counselor will provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educators and families in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students' academic, personal, social, and career development needs
- Conduct assessments and screenings to develop appropriate interventions and support plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive school environment that promotes student success
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in School Counseling or related field from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Counselor or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working as a School Counselor in a school or educational setting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health issues
- Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques
