Job Summary
Managing the organization's litigation portfolio, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Senior Counsel will provide strategic legal advice on disputes, oversee litigation matters, and collaborate with executive leadership in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the lead attorney for litigation matters and develop litigation strategies
- Evaluate claims, recommend resolution strategies, and manage mediations, arbitrations, and settlements
- Advise leaders on dispute resolution and legal risk while preparing litigation reports for leadership and the Board
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 10 years of litigation experience in a law firm or sophisticated in-house legal department
- 5 years of experience in healthcare law
- Significant experience managing complex civil litigation
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
