Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Senior Counsel will draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements while providing regulatory and compliance advisory in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements with various stakeholders in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors
- Act as the primary legal advisor for commercial, operations, and project management teams, translating legal requirements into actionable guidance
- Advise on regulatory and compliance matters across global operations, ensuring adherence to multi-jurisdictional regulations and data privacy laws
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial and operational legal matters, preferably in laboratory services or highly regulated environments
- Proficiency in contract lifecycle management tools and legal technology platforms
- Experience managing and mentoring a team in a legal setting
- Ability to synthesize complex information and present clear recommendations to stakeholders
