Job Summary
To support a collaborative orthopedic care model, a Tennessee Licensed Sports Medicine Physician will serve as a contracted collaborating physician for Advanced Practice Providers, providing guidance and consultation remotely while ensuring compliance with state regulations and practice agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a collaborating physician for Icon Health APPs practicing in Tennessee
- Support licensing, credentialing, CAQH updates, payer enrollment, and related administrative requirements
- Provide clinical collaboration and consultation when APPs encounter patient care needs beyond their training
Required Qualifications
- Board certified in Family Medicine
- Fellowship trained in Sports Medicine
- Actively licensed and in good standing in Tennessee
- Physically located and practicing in the state of Tennessee
- Comfortable serving in a collaborative physician capacity for APPs
