Job Summary

Leading the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services in a specified multi-county area, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Vocational Rehabilitation Manager will manage daily operations, ensure departmental goals are met, and provide oversight and professional development for VR staff in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of VR services, ensuring goals are achieved through effective planning and evaluation
• Provides oversight of VR team, including staffing, coaching, and performance management
• Establishes and maintains relationships with advocacy organizations, community partners, and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field with relevant coursework
• Five years of full-time professional experience in vocational rehabilitation or social services, with three years in a supervisory role
• Must complete a criminal history disclosure form and undergo a background check
• Must enroll in an approved educational plan within 90 days of hire to complete specific rehabilitation counseling courses
• Ability to produce a transcript verifying degree and completed courses at the time of application
