Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the modernization of IRS legacy tax processing systems, the fully remote Test Automation Engineer will focus on continuous testing, automation strategy development, and defect monitoring to enhance application quality throughout the lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites
- Create automation strategies and automated scripts, and support data and environment configuration
- Participate in code reviews and monitor defects to support continuous improvement in the testing process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of overall experience
- US Citizenship required with an active IRS MBI Clearance and current GFE
- Demonstrable experience with test management and quality engineering strategy
- Experience with various forms of testing, including Functional, Regression, Automation, 508, and API testing
- Proficiency with JIRA/Confluence, SQL, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
