Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and optimizing CI/CD test automation frameworks, the full-time remote Test Automation Engineer will focus on building robust pipelines and test suites using Python, while collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD test automation pipelines and test suites for pre-commit and weekly regression testing
• Automate environment provisioning, traffic generation, diagnostics, and regression testing across virtual and physical testbeds
• Debug failed runs by analyzing logs, distinguishing product bugs from test-suite or environment issues, and raising well-documented defects

Required qualifications

• Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in pytest, PTF, sonic-mgmt, and Ansible
• Solid background in CI/CD engineering and automated test orchestration
• Networking knowledge focused on routing concepts (BGP, OSPF, Layer 3) and experience with SONiC routers
• Proven debugging skills, including log analysis and root cause isolation across product and test environments
• Experience with Docker and proficiency in Git and CI/CD platforms
