Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Test Automation Engineer will write test plans and scripts, build and maintain automated testing suites, and run various types of testing in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Write test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria
- Build and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright that integrate with CI/CD
- Run functional, integration, regression, and Section 508 testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in automation
- Experience with writing test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential
