Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Test Automation Engineer will write test plans and scripts, build and maintain automated testing suites, and run various testing types to ensure software quality.
Key responsibilities
- Write test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria
- Build and maintain automated testing suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Postman that run in CI/CD
- Run functional, integration, and regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in software testing, including 3+ years of automation experience
- Experience in writing test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- ISTQB Agile Tester or Section 508 Trusted Tester certification preferred
- Ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential
