Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Test Automation Engineer will write test plans and scripts, build and maintain automated testing suites, and run various types of testing to ensure software quality.
Key responsibilities
- Write test plans, cases, and scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Build and maintain automated testing suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Postman that integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and Section 508 testing while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in automation
- Experience in writing test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories, along with defect management
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- ISTQB Agile Tester certification; Section 508 Trusted Tester certification preferred
- Ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential
