Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Test Automation Engineer will write test plans and scripts, build and maintain automated test suites, and conduct various testing types to ensure software quality.
Key responsibilities
- Write test plans, cases, and scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Build and maintain automated testing suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman that integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and Section 508 testing, while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in automation
- Experience in writing test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories
- Proficiency with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential
