Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Test Automation Engineer will write test plans, build and maintain automated testing suites, and run various testing types while ensuring release readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Write test plans, cases, and scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Build and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright in a CI/CD environment
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and Section 508 testing, while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in automation
- Experience in writing test plans, cases, and scripts from user stories, along with defect management
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Certification as an ISTQB Agile Tester or Section 508 Trusted Tester is preferred
- Ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential
