Test Developer I

Job Summary

Balancing item creation and review tasks, the full-time ELA Test Developer I will write effective assessment items, participate in internal review processes, and engage with clients under supervision in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Utilizes state item specifications to write and edit high-quality items for various projects
• Monitors item pool development for state projects under the guidance of a content lead
• Leads and participates in item review and data review meetings to support project goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with 3-6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1-4 years of experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience teaching English or developing content in an Educational Assessment environment
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Education and Educational Assessment practices
• Experience with analytical tasks and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
