Test Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Test Engineer will conduct various types of testing, including platform, functional, and regression testing, while also enhancing test automation and maintaining quality metrics in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive testing of products and solutions, including manual and automated testing
- Design and maintain testbeds, qualify software releases, and deliver on quality metrics
- Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce faults and update test scripts to prevent bug recurrence
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in testing, QA, or solutions testing roles
- Proficiency in networking technologies, software, and network protocols with hands-on experience in diverse Network Operating Systems
- Experience with SONiC or any open-source OS is highly desirable
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus
