Test Engineer
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and quality-focused, the full-time Test Engineer will design and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Playwright, integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high software quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks to ensure maximum test coverage
- Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline, establishing quality gates to prevent defective code from reaching production
- Execute a balanced testing strategy including Functional, Regression, and Exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Playwright or similar tools
- Expertise in testing RESTful services using tools like Postman or Insomnia
- Practical knowledge of integrating tests into DevOps tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
