Job Summary
Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time salaried Test Engineer II will design, develop, and execute both manual and automated tests remotely to ensure software and systems meet strict quality, performance, and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and convert manual test cases into automated scripts
- Identify, isolate, log, and track defects using issue-tracking tools, collaborating closely with development teams to verify fixes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in software testing, hardware validation, or systems quality assurance
- Hands-on experience with at least one test automation tool/framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, C#)
- Experience testing RESTful APIs or web services using tools like Postman or SoapUI
