Test Engineer III
Job Summary
Serving as the hands-on Quality Lead, the full-time Test Engineer III will manage overall code and release quality across two development teams, focusing on automated and manual testing, coaching, and process improvement in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead release-cycle testing and provide guidance and oversight to two testers
- Develop, run, and maintain automated API and UI tests while performing hands-on testing to investigate issues
- Own release test plans and documentation, assessing test results and communicating code-quality risks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, a master's degree with 5+ years, or an associate degree with 9+ years
- Hands-on experience with automated API and UI testing using Gherkin/Cucumber or similar approaches
- Experience with Salesforce configuration and development, AWS, Java, and PostgreSQL
- Proven experience leading testing efforts, owning test plans, and coaching other testers
- Eligibility to complete a background investigation for a Public Trust position
