Test Engineer - Quality Assurance
Job Summary
Owning hands-on quality assurance activities, the contract Test Engineer - Quality Assurance will work remotely to assess business requirements, design and execute test plans, and ensure application stability and performance across enterprise applications.
Key responsibilities
- Assess business and technical requirements to define testing scope, coverage, and acceptance criteria
- Design, maintain, and execute test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases for application projects
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution and closure
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of software testing experience, including manual testing of web-based and enterprise applications
- Experience in Agile environments, including sprint planning and release activities
- Proven experience validating business requirements and managing defects through the complete lifecycle
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and testing documentation
- Hands-on experience with API functionality and integration testing
