Job Summary
Experienced automation testers will find a full-time salaried Test Lead - API Automation opportunity focused on designing and maintaining UI test frameworks, building RESTful API test suites, and mentoring junior engineers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain end-to-end UI test frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript and build RESTful API test suites
- Integrate and execute regression suites via Selenium Grid and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines while contributing to test strategy and backlog grooming
- Mentor junior automation engineers on traditional and AI-augmented quality engineering workflows
Required qualifications
- 7-10 years of QA automation experience with a minimum of 3 years in test automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python, with strong expertise in Node.js-based automation pipelines
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and Devin for AI-assisted automation script development
- Experience in building and validating RESTful API test suites using tools like Postman or SoapUI
- Familiarity with Selenium and CI/CD processes
