Test Manager - Quality Assurance

Job Summary

Leading Quality Assurance for a AAA game development team, the full-time remote Test Manager - Quality Assurance will define QA strategies, mentor a high-performing team, and oversee comprehensive test execution to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define global QA strategy and integrate QA into early development planning to ensure quality is prioritized
• Mentor and manage QA Leads and testers, fostering a collaborative culture while effectively utilizing internal and external QA resources
• Oversee test execution across various areas, analyze defect data, and communicate quality risks to project leadership

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in software QA with 3+ years managing teams in game development
• Proven track record of shipping at least one major AAA title across the full development lifecycle
• Expertise in developing test strategies and risk-based testing methodologies
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
