Test Manager - Quality Assurance

Job Summary

Leading a remote team from Wednesday to Sunday, the full-time Test Manager - Quality Assurance will oversee QA strategy, manage testing teams, and ensure quality throughout the game development lifecycle for a AAA title.

Key responsibilities

• Define global QA strategy and integrate quality assurance into early development planning
• Mentor and manage a high-performing team of QA Leads and testers while overseeing comprehensive test execution
• Establish QA schedules and deliverables for major milestones, ensuring build stability and release readiness

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in software QA with 3+ years managing teams in game development
• Proven track record of shipping at least one major AAA title across the full development lifecycle
• Expertise in developing test strategies and risk-based testing methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
• Experience with Agile methodologies in a game development context
