Test Technician
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and methodical, the full-time Test Technician will execute software tests, log defects, and ensure client applications function as expected in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and scripts according to established test plans
- Record test results, capturing evidence such as screenshots, and log defects with clear reproduction steps
- Assist with user acceptance testing and maintain test documentation and data
Required qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or technical support
- Experience following written test procedures and documenting results
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
