Job Summary
To support software evaluation for veterans' affairs, the fully remote Testing Technician will assist developers by building test plans, executing test cases, and documenting results, while also communicating defects to enhance software performance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing test plans and test cases based on user stories
- Execute manual test cases and generate data to evaluate software performance
- Document test results and communicate defects to the development team for improvements
Required qualifications
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the U.S
- Experience with test methodologies, QA processes, and the software release cycle
- Knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking
- Ability to write test plans and test cases
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
